Anita Arredondo

Founder and CEO of Be Healthy Weight Loss and Wellness
Certified Nutrition Coach and Holistic Nutrition Consultant

Anita has a Bachelors Degree in Business and an Associates degree in Marketing. She is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach. Her passion is helping others change their mindset about food and learn to live and no longer diet. Whether her clients are struggling with self image, weight issues, or just need nutritional guidance, she meets clients where they are and works with them to recognize and overcome self-sabotaging behaviors; helping create new, positive habits. She truly wants others to get healthy and Be Healthy.

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, she is a former single mother and now a devoted wife to Tony and a loving mother to her daughters Ashleigh (32) and Alyssa (19). She takes immense joy in being a grandmother to Anthony and Amelia. Anita’s passion lies in music and concerts, and she cherishes spending time with friends. Anita’s resilience shines through as a survivor of both Melanoma and Breast Cancer. She once graced the stage as a dancer during the Super Bowl halftime show in Tampa in 1984. She is involved in The Affirmations Project where in 2016 she had her body painted after a double mastectomy and reconstruction to provide hope to others that there is life after cancer, to promote self-love and show that our scars do not define us.

Notably, she’s also a best-selling published author, known for her work in “Slaying Tampa Bay” as well as her biographical story in her published work of “Whatever It Takes.” Her life philosophy is beautifully summarized in her belief that in life, every obstacle she encounters is not a roadblock, but a steppingstone to making her Stronger. MAILOHA

Mailoha Kitchens

Accountability Coach

Mailoha Kitchens is an Accountability Coach with a strong academic foundation in health, behavior change, and nutrition science. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Political Science, has completed the pre-requisites for a Registered Dietitian Master’s program, and is currently studying toward her Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) credentials.

Her coaching approach is intentionally protein-forward, rooted in the understanding that adequate protein intake is critical for blood sugar regulation, muscle preservation, metabolism, and long-term health. Rather than focusing on restriction or short-term fixes, Mailoha helps women build meals and routines that prioritize protein to support energy, satiety, and consistency.

With a deep appreciation for both the science of nutrition and the realities of busy lives, Mailoha specializes in accountability, structure, and follow-through. She helps clients remove mental friction, simplify decisions, and create sustainable habits that actually stick. Her work emphasizes progress over perfection and consistency over extremes.

Mailoha believes that true health is built through small, repeatable actions, not willpower alone. She meets clients where they are, guiding them to rebuild trust in themselves and develop routines that support lasting results. Her coaching style is empathetic, practical, and empowering.

She is passionate about supporting women through every stage of life and considers it an honor to walk alongside clients on their wellness journeys. As part of the Be Healthy Tampa team, Mailoha is committed to helping clients feel supported, confident, and equipped to live healthier, stronger, and more balanced lives.
